Military land platforms are frequently exposed to the risks associated with crew survivability and emergency egress in both training, and operation environments. First the crew must survive an incident before they can consider an emergency egress procedure to escape their vehicle. Surviving crew members may encounter serval debilitating factors, such as personal injury, spatial disorientation, continued risk of incursion, IED attack or a secondary event hazard such as water, smoke and fire.
