Product Description
HIGH SURVIVABILITY AND ENHANCED ATTACK CAPABILITY
MILDAR is a high technology radar system for helicopter platforms. MILDAR Fire Control Helicopter Radar is capable of searching, detecting, locating and classifying multiple air and ground targets under all weather conditions. System has small size, weight and power (SWAP) characteristics, enables weapon engagement for the onboard RF guided missiles.
MILDAR displays the potential targets in the battlefield and provides helicopter pilots with 360 degrees situational awareness for wide area surveillance. By facilitating the pilots to engage multiple moving targets, it significantly increases the helicopter’s survivability and attacking capability.
SAFE NAVIGATION UNDER LOW VISIBILITY CONDITIONS
MILDAR Helicopter Fire Control Radar optionally provides terrain profiling mode for low visibility and low altitude flights. In order to fly safely under those conditions, MILDAR creates a terrain profile including the terrain topology and artificial /natural obstacles over the terrain, in the radar screen. Terrain profiling enhances the pilot’s positional awareness to avoid terrain and large obstacles during the flights in bad-weather or battlefield conditions.
SEE YOUR ENEMY FIRST
Unlike the pilot’s limited visual detection capability, MILDAR Fire Control Radar has a robust warning feature covering all sectors beyond the visual range, either day/night or even in bad weather conditions such as cloudy, rainy, foggy, and snowy conditions. This feature not only improves the survivability, but also widens the pilot’s options including additional planning and reaction times, avoidance and ambush.
INHERENT ELECTRONIC WARFARE
Track-While-Scan (TWS) capability helps the pilots detect and track the treats newly coming to the battlefield while tracking the current targets. MILDAR Fire Control Radar helps the pilots create a holistic perception of the close airspace and enhance their situational awareness. MILDAR serves an infrastructure facilitating multiple target tracking and weapon engagement in compliance with potential targets and battlefields. MILDAR having frequency hopping and LPI features, has an inherent EW protection.
