Retinar FAR-AD Drone Detection Radar, developed by Meteksan Savunma, is a radar system to enable security against mini/micro unmanned aerial vehicles. Retinar FAR-AD can automatically scan large areas and low altitude air space as as the primary sensor of the security forces against drones and ground threats. Retinar FAR-AD provides effective protection against low altitude Mini/Micro UAV’s, with it is 40 degree elevation angle.
ADVANCED TECHNOLOGY AND DIGITAL RADAR ARCHITECTURE
Retinar FAR-AD Drone Detection Radar operates on Ku band frequency with low RF output. It has an advanced technology solid state radio frequency design and digital radar architecture. Retinar FAR-AD uses a customized pulse-compression Doppler waveform and offers effective modes of operation through various waveforms and angular rotation speeds with its digital radar architecture. Retinar FAR-AD has 10/100Mbps Ethernet data interface and 220 VAC power interface, communicates with GUI on laptop or RIU software via Ethernet.
