DSA Exhibition And Conference Sdn Bhd, a Malaysian-owned company was established with one objective; to successfully organise the globally recognise homegrown Defence Services Asia series of exhibitions and conferences hand-in-hand with the Malaysian Government. The DSA series of exhibitions was first initiated in 1988 with the purpose of offering global manufacturers and service providers direct access to the world's top-level industry experts, government, and high level decision-makers. Despite the world being in the grip of a Covid pandemic, the organisers of Defence Services Asia (DSA) and National Security Asia (NATSEC Asia) have proudly put together a massive exhibition on defence and homeland security, with the support of the Ministry of Defence, Ministry of Home Affairs and Malaysian Armed Forces. DSA and NATSEC Asia 2022 had gone through enormous challenges to convince the Malaysian Government that we they are ready to organise a huge international event despite the strict foreign entry restrictions, health protocol and movement control. The event was held during pandemic time, just few days leading up to Malaysia's transition into the endemic phase of its COVID-19 on 1 April 2022. DSA and NATSEC Asia 2022 which started on 28 March and ended on 31 March participated by 1,096 companies from 49 countries as well as 20 international pavilions making it the first and largest international event in the country since the pandemic outbreak. DSA and NATSEC Asia 2022 have successfully recorded 35,567 trade visitors and 380 VIP delegations, including approximately 5,000 foreign international participants from 85 countries not just proving it is an invaluable platform in bringing together various industry leaders, government, defence and homeland security agencies from across the region with the purpose of forging mutual trust and collaboration between all parties, but also a valuable relieved to the Business Event industry what was badly impacted due to Covid pandemic. The show saw the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding, Letter of Agreement and contracts worth more than RM 7.1 billion by the Ministry of Defence and Ministry of Home Affairs, Malaysia. This year also marked the second edition of NATSEC Asia, further strengthening DSA and NATSEC Asia's status as the only show of its kind anywhere in the world to feature both defence and national security-related issues side by side, on the same platform."
