Accreditation of journalists who will cover the 15th Specialized International Defence Equipment Exhibition "Hemus - 2022".
Bulgaria will host the 15th Specialized International Defence Equipment Exhibition "Hemus 2022 - Defence, Counterterrorism and Security", which will be held in the period 1st – 4th June 2022 in the International Fair Plovdiv.
The exhibition is held under the motto "Defense, Counterterrorism and Security". The main attention of the exhibitors will be focused on the presentation of their technological achievements and opportunities for participation in the implementation of major projects for modernization of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Bulgaria in the fields of "Armaments and equipment", "Communication and information systems", unmanned aerial systems for surveillance and tracking, cyber security and others.
The International Exhibition "Hemus - 2022" is held under the patronage of the Ministry of Defence and the Ministry of Economy and Industry of the Republic of Bulgaria. The organizer of the Exhibition is "Hemus-95" Foundation with Chairman of the Governing Board Rearadmiral (Ret.) N. Nikolov Ph.D.
The Exhibition traditionally will be accompanied by an International Scientific Conference, a Session of the Industrial Forum, as well as by Live Fire Demonstration at the Central Artillery Technical Test Range "Zmeyovo".
For the first time, the Symposium on Research and Innovation for European Security and Defense (RISE-SD) will be held as part of the Exhibition, marking one year since the launch of Horizon Europe (HE) and the European Defense Fund (EDF), the new framework program for research and innovation.

The official opening of the 15th International Defence Equipment Exhibition "Hemus - 2022" will take place on 1st Juner 2022 at the International Fair Plovdiv. Traditionally, before the ceremony a Joint Press Conference of the organizers of the exhibition will be held from 10.00 in the Press Club Hall of the Congress Center of the Fair at which you will have the opportunity to obtain detailed information on the participants and the accompanying events.
The Press Center of the Ministry of Defence will organize the admission of media representatives to cover the official opening of the International Exhibition "Hemus - 2022" and the accompanying events. For this purpose, it is necessary for the permanently accredited journalists to confirm their participation by providing not later than 18 of May 2022 to e-mail: presscntr@mod.bg the following information: first name, second name, surname, Personal Identification Number, the number of the personal identity card, the name of the media, the position in the respective media, contact phone, e-mail address, journalist card number.
