The Prime Minister of Malaysia looks forward to Brunei continuous support for the 17th DSA in March next year

The Right Honourable Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin, Prime Minister of Malaysia, made his first official visit to His Majesty Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Mu’izzaddin Waddaulah, Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam on 4 – 5 April 2021. During this meeting, both Leaders reaffirmed their commitment to further nurture this special relationship by broadening and strengthening collaboration in an array of mutually beneficial areas.
Malaysia and Brunei have expressed their commitment to strengthen and foster closer defence ties through a collaboration between the Royal Brunei Armed Forces (RBAF) and Malaysian Armed Forces (MAF). The cooperation would centre in areas of strategic importance through regular exchanges of visits, training and military exercises, said a joint statement on the 23rd Annual Leaders' Consultation between Sultan of Brunei Sultan Hassanal Bolkiah and Prime Minister Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin.
Both Leaders noted the continuous involvement of defence officials to the Defence Services Asia Exhibition and Conference (DSA) in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, as well as the Langkawi International Maritime and Aerospace Exhibition (LIMA) in Langkawi, Malaysia. The Honourable Prime Minister of Malaysia looked forward to Brunei Darussalam’s continuous support for the 17th DSA in March 2022.
Malaysia as the host is honoured to warmly welcome and receive the delegation from Brunei Darussalam and the rest of the world for DSA & NATSEC Asia in March 2022.
